1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hood League website, Beta v2.1 experience, mobile interfaces, fantasy-market features, market-data interfaces, wallet connection tools, leaderboards, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Risk Disclosure.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Independent project
Hood League is an independent project. It is not Robinhood Markets, Inc., Robinhood Crypto, LLC, Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, or any of their affiliates. Hood League is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by, or officially connected with Robinhood Markets, Inc. or its affiliates unless a specific relationship is expressly stated in writing.
References to “Robinhood Chain” are factual references to the blockchain network on which Hood League may build or interact. Hood League branding remains separate from Robinhood Chain branding.
3. Eligibility and restrictions
You must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and be permitted to use the Service under the laws applicable to you. You may not use the Service if your access or activity would violate applicable law, sanctions, export controls, securities restrictions, consumer-protection rules, or other regulatory requirements.
Features involving tokens, Stock Tokens, onchain transactions, promotions, prizes, or other regulated activity may be unavailable or restricted in certain jurisdictions. You are responsible for determining whether a feature is lawful and available where you are located.
4. Hood League service
Hood League is designed as a fantasy-market competition experience. Users may draft supported market references and compare market-linked performance, rankings, and scores with other users. Unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise, drafting an asset does not buy, sell, custody, transfer, redeem, or create ownership of the referenced stock, cryptocurrency, Stock Token, token, ETF, or other asset.
Game rules, scoring windows, supported assets, rankings, leagues, and features may change as the Service evolves. Any Beta v2.1, preview, test, beta, or roadmap item may be modified, delayed, or removed.
5. Market references and Stock Tokens
The Service may reference stocks, cryptocurrencies, tokens, exchange-traded products, or Stock Tokens for informational or fantasy-scoring purposes. Where Hood League refers to Robinhood-issued onchain equity products, the correct term is “Stock Tokens.” Stock Tokens are distinct from the underlying securities they reference.
Robinhood Stock Tokens are tokenised debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited and are designed to provide economic exposure to referenced securities. They do not grant holders legal or beneficial ownership rights in the underlying issuer or underlying shares. Availability and transfer restrictions may apply by jurisdiction.
Unless Hood League expressly launches a transaction-enabled feature, asset references in Hood League are not an offer, solicitation, brokerage service, securities transaction, exchange service, or recommendation.
6. Wallets and onchain activity
The Service may permit connection of an EVM-compatible self-custodial wallet. Hood League does not require or request your private key or seed phrase. Never disclose either to Hood League, a support account, or any person claiming to act on our behalf.
Wallet providers and blockchain networks operate independently from Hood League. Before signing any message or transaction, review the network, contract address, token, permissions, destination, value, and estimated fees shown by your wallet. Public-blockchain transactions may be irreversible and Hood League generally cannot recover assets, cancel confirmed transactions, or restore compromised wallets.
7. $LEAGUE and third-party launch infrastructure
$LEAGUE is described as a planned utility layer for Hood League. Utility may include access to selected league formats, league creation, player identity features, and community participation. Product descriptions are plans, not guarantees that any feature, token launch, market, liquidity level, price, or future functionality will exist.
If $LEAGUE is launched through PONS V2 or another third-party protocol, that protocol is a separate service and may be governed by separate smart contracts, interfaces, terms, fees, and risks. Hood League does not guarantee third-party protocol availability, liquidity, execution, pricing, smart-contract security, or continued operation.
Holding, buying, selling, or spending $LEAGUE does not improve the market performance used to determine fantasy scores and does not create any promise of profit, yield, appreciation, revenue share, ownership, or return.
8. Fees and gas
Some future onchain features may require blockchain gas fees or third-party protocol fees. Fees may change based on network conditions and third-party rules. Hood League is not responsible for fees charged by wallet providers, networks, protocols, exchanges, bridges, payment providers, or other third parties.
9. Prohibited use
You may not use the Service to violate law or sanctions; defraud or deceive others; manipulate league outcomes; exploit bugs; interfere with infrastructure; attempt unauthorized access; impersonate Hood League or another person; distribute malware, phishing links, spam, or harmful content; scrape or automate the Service in a manner that disrupts it; evade geographic or product restrictions; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; or facilitate money laundering, sanctions evasion, theft, or other unlawful activity.
We may use reasonable anti-abuse controls and may invalidate scores, remove content, restrict features, or suspend access where necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties.
10. Market data and scoring
Hood League may use market and blockchain data from multiple third-party sources. Prices, percentage changes, timestamps, contract information, liquidity information, and other data can differ between venues and may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, corrected, or erroneous.
Fantasy scoring may use a defined data source, reference price, time window, methodology, and tie-break procedure. Hood League may correct a displayed score, rank, result, or market value if the underlying data or calculation is later determined to be inaccurate. Displayed market data should be independently verified before it is relied upon for any purpose outside the fantasy experience.
11. No financial services or advice
Hood League is not acting as your broker, dealer, investment adviser, financial adviser, fiduciary, custodian, trustee, exchange, bank, or tax adviser through the Service. Information is provided for product, informational, and fantasy-competition purposes only.
Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, stake, bridge, lend, borrow, or transact in any asset. Market performance displayed in a game does not predict future performance.
12. Third-party services
The Service may rely on or link to third-party services including hosting providers, RPC providers, wallet software, block explorers, market-data providers, oracle services, decentralized exchanges, token launch protocols, bridges, and public blockchain infrastructure. Those services are independent from Hood League and may have separate terms and privacy practices.
Integration, linking, or display does not mean Hood League controls, guarantees, audits, endorses, or assumes responsibility for a third-party service. Your use of a third-party service is at your own risk and may be subject to separate contractual or regulatory requirements.
13. Intellectual property and marks
Except for third-party materials, the Hood League name, branding, interface, graphics, software, copy, and original content are owned by or licensed to Hood League and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Robinhood Chain marks, Stock Token names, company names, asset logos, token logos, and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners. Where third-party brand assets are displayed, Hood League intends to use them only for factual identification and in accordance with applicable brand guidelines and permissions.
14. Availability and beta features
The Service may include Beta v2.1, preview, experimental, or test functionality. Such functionality may contain errors, operate intermittently, use illustrative data, or change without notice. Hood League may add, modify, restrict, pause, or discontinue any feature, supported asset, data source, league, or interface.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Hood League does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continuous availability, error-free software, wallet compatibility, data accuracy, score accuracy, network performance, smart-contract security, liquidity, token value, or third-party service availability.
No security measure can eliminate all risk. You are responsible for independently verifying wallet prompts, contract addresses, network information, token information, and material market data before taking action.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hood League and its contributors, operators, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including losses involving market movements, data errors, loss of access, wallet compromise, blockchain transactions, smart contracts, third-party services, network failures, or lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or digital assets.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or any non-waivable consumer right that applies to you.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Hood League may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to some or all features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance, abuse prevention, product changes, or protection of users and third parties.
Termination of access does not reverse blockchain transactions or affect obligations that by their nature should survive, including intellectual-property, risk, disclaimer, and limitation provisions.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms as Hood League evolves or as legal, technical, network, or third-party requirements change. The “Last updated” date will identify the latest published version. Where required by law, material changes will be communicated through the Service or another reasonable channel.
