1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Hood League website, mobile interfaces, fantasy market features, wallet connection tools, leaderboards, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Draft notice: this document is a product-ready legal draft for the Hood League concept. Before a public commercial launch, it should be reviewed and adapted by qualified counsel for the jurisdictions in which Hood League will operate.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction. Unless Hood League expressly states otherwise, the Service is intended for users aged 18 or older. You are responsible for confirming that your use of the Service is lawful where you live.

3. Fantasy market service

Hood League is designed as a fantasy market competition product. Users may select or “draft” supported assets and compare simulated or market-linked performance against other users. Unless explicitly stated in a separate product flow, a draft does not itself purchase, sell, custody, or transfer the underlying stock, cryptocurrency, token, or other referenced asset.

Market values, rankings, statistics, and game outcomes may rely on third-party data and may be delayed, interrupted, corrected, or unavailable.

4. Wallets and blockchain interactions

The Service may allow you to connect an EVM-compatible wallet. Wallet access is handled by the wallet provider. Hood League does not need, request, or store your seed phrase or private key.

If a feature initiates an onchain transaction, you are responsible for reviewing the transaction in your wallet before signing it, including the destination, network, token, value, and estimated network fees. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible.

5. User conduct

You may not use the Service to manipulate competitions, impersonate another person, exploit bugs, interfere with the Service, automate abusive activity, attempt unauthorized access, or violate applicable law. Hood League may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users.

6. No investment advice

Hood League provides a fantasy market experience and informational interfaces. Nothing on the Service is investment, brokerage, trading, legal, accounting, or tax advice, and nothing should be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or transact in any asset.

7. Third-party services and marks

The Service may display names, logos, prices, data, links, wallets, APIs, networks, or other content supplied by third parties. Those services remain subject to their own terms and availability. References to companies, tokens, protocols, or networks do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

8. Intellectual property

Except for third-party materials, the Hood League brand, interface, graphics, software, and original content are owned by or licensed to Hood League and may not be copied, redistributed, or commercially exploited without permission.

9. Availability and changes

Hood League may modify, test, suspend, discontinue, or replace features. Beta, preview, mock, or experimental functionality may change without notice and may not operate continuously.

10. Disclaimers and limitation

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Hood League does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of market data, competition outcomes, wallet compatibility, token value, or the performance of third-party infrastructure.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hood League will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages arising from use of the Service, including loss caused by market movements, wallet activity, data errors, network conditions, or third-party services.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed through the official Hood League contact channel published on the Service.
