1. Read before using onchain features
Hood League is a fantasy-market product that may reference volatile assets and may add blockchain functionality. Public blockchains, self-custodial wallets, tokens, smart contracts, market-data systems, and third-party protocols can fail or behave unexpectedly. Losses may be irreversible.
2. Fantasy product risk
Fantasy rankings and outcomes depend on Hood League rules, data sources, calculation methods, time windows, availability, and anti-abuse controls. Scores can change quickly and may be corrected after publication. A fantasy selection is not ownership of the referenced asset unless a separate transaction flow expressly says otherwise.
3. Market and volatility risk
Stocks, cryptocurrencies, tokens, and other market references can move rapidly, gap between trading sessions, become illiquid, or lose substantial value. Historical, simulated, fantasy, or leaderboard performance is not a forecast of future results.
4. Stock Token risk
Where the Service refers to Robinhood Stock Tokens, users should understand that Stock Tokens are tokenised debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited. They provide economic exposure to referenced securities but do not grant legal or beneficial ownership rights in the underlying company or underlying shares.
Stock Tokens carry significant risk, may be subject to issuance, transfer, trading, redemption, and geographic restrictions, and may not be available to all persons or in all jurisdictions. Hood League fantasy references do not override those restrictions or constitute an offer of Stock Tokens.
5. Data and oracle risk
Hood League may obtain prices, percentage changes, token information, liquidity data, and blockchain data from APIs, RPC providers, DEX data providers, oracles, exchanges, and public endpoints. Sources can differ, lag, fail, return stale values, or be corrected later.
Onchain oracle data may also be affected by feed configuration, update intervals, network conditions, smart-contract bugs, or upstream market disruptions. A score or displayed price may therefore differ from another venue or data provider.
6. Wallet risk
Self-custodial wallets place control and responsibility with the wallet holder. Lost seed phrases, compromised devices, phishing, malicious signatures, unsafe approvals, wrong-network transactions, and address errors can cause permanent loss. Hood League cannot recover private keys or reverse confirmed blockchain transactions.
7. Robinhood Chain and network risk
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum-compatible Layer-2 blockchain. Layer-2 systems and their dependencies may experience congestion, downtime, sequencer or RPC disruption, protocol upgrades, bugs, chain reorganizations, validator or infrastructure failures, censorship, delayed finality, or other technical events.
Ethereum data availability, bridges, RPC providers, explorers, or other infrastructure used with Robinhood Chain may also fail independently. Hood League does not control Robinhood Chain or its third-party infrastructure.
8. Smart-contract risk
Smart contracts can contain coding errors, vulnerabilities, admin privileges, upgrade mechanisms, economic exploits, oracle dependencies, or unexpected interactions with other contracts. A contract appearing in the Hood League interface should not be assumed audited, safe, immutable, or free from risk unless Hood League expressly provides current supporting information.
9. $LEAGUE risk
$LEAGUE is described as a planned utility token. Any future token may experience extreme volatility, low liquidity, concentration, smart-contract failures, launch failures, market manipulation, delisting, regulatory change, or complete loss of value. Utility descriptions are not promises of profit, yield, appreciation, revenue, ownership, or future availability.
The official contract address and final onchain parameters should be verified through Hood League’s official channels before any interaction. Holding or spending $LEAGUE is not intended to improve the market performance that determines fantasy scoring.
10. Liquidity and market-structure risk
Decentralized markets may have thin liquidity, wide spreads, slippage, price impact, front-running or MEV exposure, volatile bonding-curve pricing, and rapid changes in available liquidity. A quoted or displayed price may not be achievable for your desired transaction size.
11. Third-party risk
Hood League may rely on wallets, hosting providers, RPC infrastructure, market-data providers, DEX data services, block explorers, bridges, launch protocols such as PONS V2, and other independent services. Their outages, terms, security incidents, upgrades, data errors, or discontinuation may affect Hood League.
Use of a third-party protocol may expose you to risks that Hood League cannot monitor or control.
12. Regulatory risk
Rules affecting crypto assets, token issuance, securities, Stock Tokens, fantasy competitions, promotions, consumer products, taxes, sanctions, and blockchain services vary by jurisdiction and can change quickly. A feature available today may later be restricted, modified, or unavailable.
Stock Tokens are subject to specific jurisdictional restrictions. Users should not attempt to circumvent eligibility or geographic restrictions.
13. Security and scam risk
Crypto and blockchain projects are frequent targets for phishing, fake tokens, impersonation, malicious approvals, compromised social accounts, and fraudulent websites. Verify the domain, contract address, network, wallet prompt, and official announcement before acting.
Hood League will never need your seed phrase or private key.
14. Your responsibility
You are responsible for understanding every wallet request before signing, verifying the relevant network and contract address, protecting your wallet and devices, checking applicable restrictions, independently verifying important data, and deciding whether an onchain activity is appropriate for you.
Do not commit funds or digital assets that you cannot afford to lose completely.
